New Eyemouth High School
Plans are well underway for the construction of a new school at the Gunsgreen site in Eyemouth.  It is proposed that the school will be completed by early 2009
More information to follow when it becomes available.

Charity Fundraising 2007/2008
Eyemouth High School students raised the magnificent sum of £2784.11 this year to support Children in Need (£2073.70), Eyemouth Lifeboat (£355.21) and SENSE (£355.20).  Thanks to everyone who helped raise this money.

Young Enterprise Company -'Aleatorio' scooped three out of the five awards at last night's  Borders Area Board Presentation Evening!
 
Ten S6 students were presented with:
 
The Border Reiver Services Trophy for the Best Report
The Determined to Succeed Trophy for Best Innovation
The Border Reiver Trophy for best Overall Company
 
The Company members will go on to represent The Scottish Borders at The Royal Bank of Scotland Young Enterprise Scotland Awards 2007.   This prestigious event is takes place over two days, and will be held at The City Halls in Glasgow.
 
'Aleatorio' would like to thank the following people at Eyemouth High School for their support and patience over the last nine months:
 
- The ladies in the school office
- The janitors Anna and Mark
- The teachers who allowed them time out of class
- Mrs Renstead and Mrs Halliday
 
Thanks too, to Mr Watson for coming to support us on the night.
 
Everyone in the Company had a very enjoyable evening, and it goes without saying, are very excited about the finals!
