You will often know that someone
is being bullied long before teachers and parents do.
You can make a difference.
Doing nothing usually means the bullying carries on or that the bullies
become more confident and choose more victims.
If you do nothing, the bullies might think you approve.
Here
are some things you can do. If
any of them do not work, don't give up.
Try something else.
q
Persuade the person to talk to a teacher
or a parent.
q
Encourage the person being bullied to
talk to you.
q
Offer to speak to a teacher or a parent
on the bullied person's behalf.
q
Post an anonymous bullying report slip in
the library with brief details.
Don't
try to sort things out yourself.
Don't
tell the person to sort it out by themselves.
You
can make a difference.
Please
do something quickly.
